Why a community centre ?

With the current uncertain financial climate and cut-backs in public spending, our research identified a growing need for a safe, central and well equipped venue for the use of community- minded organisations and small businesses in and around Reigate. Despite being a busy town in a relatively well-off area, there was no existing central building to serve this purpose.

As a result, our out-dated Rank Memorial Hall was in considerable demand, even in a delapidated state. We realized there was an opportunity to make a very significant contribution to the town by replacing it with a completely new building.
